Set in a very spacious property we offer preschool education and childcare for children aged 6 months to 5 years old.  We are open from 7.30am to 6.00pm daily, closing only for one week at Christmas and for Bank Holidays.  Children are grouped across three separate age appropriate rooms with access to a well equipped garden.  We offer a range of sessions including free Government funded sessions for eligible 3-5 year olds for up to 15 hours per week. We also offer funded sessions for eligible 2 year olds.

All of the children's rooms are double aspect which means that they are flooded with natural light. The rooms are large and equipped with quality furniture and equipment.

Externally, there are 6 HD digital cameras in operation and all doors into the building are fully secure.  All rooms are fully air-conditioned.

The nursery has a fully stocked children's book lending library for parents and children who attend, access to this is free of charge.

We also have a physical activity room equipped with soft play equipment. This is primarily for our younger children and supports gross motor development.

Our garden is large and fully enclosed.  To the rear of the garden we are developing a wild garden area for nature walks. This area is more than twice the size of our enclosed garden.

In the near future we will offer a before/after school and holiday club for children who have attended the Nursery.

Over the years we have worked hard to promote and include a Montessori approach to Early Years within our ethos.  This tried and tested approach to Early Years education produces excellent outcomes for children of varying abilities from all backgrounds.  The Nursery owners are Montessori trained (in addition to holding Level 4 Certificates in Early Years Practice).  This allows regular in house Montessori workshops to be conducted for all staff ensuring that the Montessori ethos is well embedded within our practice.  The thousands of pounds that we have invested in Montessori equipment is in addition to the 'regular' play equipment that we have, which can be found in Nurseries across the country.  The Montessori element  in our practice, coupled with our excellent staff are key factors in supporting  calmness and an eagerness to learn.

 Our Aims:

We aim to provide a happy, secure and stimulating environment for learning, in which the development and education of your child can be enhanced and supported.

We aim to help your child to develop physically, intellectually, linguistically, emotionally and socially by methods which nurture his/her sense of self worth and encourage confidence and independence, so that he/she is well prepared to move on and start school with eagerness and confidence.  Our highly qualified and dedicated staff will assist your child on their path through Nursery, at his/her own pace, using a range of activities, including Montessori, which capture the imagination and continually develop new skills.

Through the use of a child-centred approach, using the best of modern childcare practices, we aim to help your child build the foundations of a lifetime of creative and self-motivated learning.
