Set in a large modern detached property we offer a warm homely environment for children aged 6 months to 5 years old.  We are open from 7.30am to 6.00pm daily, closing only for one week at Christmas and for Bank Holidays.  Children are grouped across four separate rooms with access to a well equipped garden with a separate covered play area.  We offer a range of sessions including free Government funded sessions for eligible 3-5 year olds for up to 15 hours per week.  We also offer before/after school and holiday club for children who have attended the Nursery, this includes drop off and collection from Attleborough Infant School.

Over the years we have worked hard to promote and include a Montessori approach to Early Years within our ethos.  This tried and tested approach to Early Years  education produces excellent outcomes for children of varying abilities from all backgrounds.  The Nursery owners are Montessori trained (in addition to holding Level 4 Certificates in Early Years Practice).  This allows regular in house Montessori workshops to be conducted for all staff ensuring that the Montessori ethos is well embedded within our practice.  The thousands of pounds that we have invested in Montessori equipment is in addition to the 'regular' play equipment that we have, which can be found in Nurseries across the country.  The Montessori element  in our practice, coupled with our excellent staff are key factors in the calmness and  eagerness to learn that can be seen at our Nursery.

Babies benefit from our all inclusive package where we provide all formula and bottles.  They enjoy their own play room with milk prep kitchen and separate sleep room.

We believe that good nutrition at this stage of a child's life is vital for building good eating habits and a healthy attitude towards food for life.  For this area of our provision Ofsted have rated us as Outstanding (2010 inspection).  We have also been awarded the Healthy Options Norfolk award (HONOR award) for our efforts in providing healthy food.

A typical day and example of this is as follows:

8-9.00am - breakfast, normally cereal (low sugar).

10.30am - a fruit snack.

12.00pm - lunch, cooked on site from healthy whole ingredients.  When we cook with meat we always use free range chicken, and regularly use Aberdeen Angus beef and rare breed free range pork.  Brown rice, wholemeal pasta and wholemeal flour is also used in our cooking. We operate a 6 week rotating menu which is healthy and delicious.

3.00pm - snack such as courgette cake, cheese straws, cupcakes, teacake etc.. all baked on site.

5.40pm - late tea for children staying until 6.00pm, normally sandwiches with crudités.
